Omise: UX consulting for Asia’s leading blockchain-based loyalty management platform

Omise provides payment gateway solutions to their clients, powered by their cryptocurrency, OMG. They were aiming to build a backend loyalty management platform that would allow merchants to manage loyalty points for customers across different businesses and retail branches. 

To help Omise achieve its goal, we executed a two-month UX research strategy, involving customer journey mapping, competitive research, analysis, and user flow charts. 

We validated Omise’s business ideas, showing them how the loyalty platform would work in practice by demonstrating the different steps users will need to go through to use their loyalty platform on- and offline, throughout multiple retail stores.

Manulife: Brand repositioning to capture the local insurance market

Manulife, a Hong Kong based global insurance company, was experiencing difficulty capturing the local insurance market in Thailand. They sought our expertise to help adapt their regional team and internal processes to grow their business in Thailand. 

To help them redesign their online platform and reposition their branding, we conducted a large-scale user interview campaign to discover the expectations, fears, and motivations of local customers. 

After identifying the reason for resistance toward purchasing insurance online in Thailand, we were able to design an intuitive UX flow that generates trust and brand loyalty, helping Manulife capture the local market.
